The giant Asian mantis is one of the largest mantis species that is successfully kept in captivity averaging a whopping 8 inches.

  • Current size: 1 inch

  • Latin: Hierodula membranacea

  • This species requires an average temperature of around 24°C and a relative humidity of 40-60% which will be achieved through a moist substrate rather than spraying.

  • The lifespan of these lovely invertebrates is approximately 6-12 months.

While these animals can be delivered via courier we highly recommend that due to the sensitivity of inverts that they are collected from one of our shops.
