Adult Female Plated Leaf Chameleon aka Pigmy Leaf Chameleon (Brookesia Stumpfii).
Wc but been with us for a few months now and are doing great, feeding on a mix of springtails tropical grey woodlice, fruit flies and small crickets - their favourites being the woodlice that they eat a lot of!
Use to be with a male, mating has been observed whilst in our care.
Available for £249 or with their setup (30x30cm bioactive setup) for £525
These guys are a pleasure to watch slowly scouring the leaf littered floor on the hunt for woodlice and anything else moving about, more of a display animal for the experienced keeper or someone aware of their dislike for high temperatures
A tiny chameleon species reaching only ~3-4 inches. They do not tolerate high temperatures thus a chiller is recommend during the summer to keep them cool. Very greedy eating plenty of isopods and crickets, recommended for people with a bit more experience due to their sensitive nature.
Recommended minimum adult enclosure: 30x30cm
Hot spot temperature: 26C
Ambient: 22-24C
Humidity: 70-100%
