Adult Size: Ranges from 5 to 8 inches
Handling: Become very friendly and will learn to hand feed
Suitability: Beginner
Once old enough to hibernate, these tortoises can be housed outdoors. Until then, they should be housed in large tortoise tables with overhead heating and UV lighting. Basking temperatures should be 32-35c.
