Handling: Frogs are best kept as a display species
Suitability: Beginner
Natural Habitat: Sub-tropical forests of North Vietnam
Enclosure recommendations
Adults should be housed in an enclosure measuring 45x45x60cm as the minimum size. Babies can be placed in their adult sized enclosure straight away.
They should have thermostatically controlled overhead heating or a thermostatically controlled heat mat attached to the outside glass. UV lighting is beneficial and recommended. A digital thermometer or heat gun should be used to measure temperatures accurately.
This species do very well in live-planted bioactive enclosures as they love to sit on large leaves to sleep during the day!
