Average Adult size range: up to 5ft
Adult Texas Rat Snakes should be housed in 4ft long enclosures as a minimum requirement.
Babies can be housed in smaller hatchling snake enclosures until this is outgrown.
Heating should be thermostatically controlled, and temperatures should be measured with a digital thermometer or heat gun.
