Enclosure recommendations

Amazon Tree Boas are highly arboreal, and therefore require a large arboreal enclosure with thermostatically controlled and guarded overhead heating.

UV lighting is beneficial. Temperatures and humidity should be measured with a digital thermo-hygrometer or a heat gun for accuracy.

There should be plenty of climbing opportunities and perches available in the form of branches, cork flats and rounds, vines and fake/live plants.

They have high humidity requirements which should be strictly maintained. This species look great in bioactive, live-planted habitats!
