Stunning Amel Motley Corn Snake For Sale

Corn snakes are a great choice when it comes for a first, second or third pet snake. A hardy species perfect for new keepers to learn the ropes with a sweet nature and manageable size.

• Handling: easy to hold, can be a little wriggly which is common for colubrids

• Size range: males 3.5-4ft

• Housing and habitat: adult males generally require 4ft vivariums depending on length

Females will be larger than males and can be expected to reach 5 ft in length requiring an adult tank size approximately 4ft x 2ft as appose to males which typically do well in a 4ft.

For adults we would advice thermostatically controlled over head heating set to a 30-32*C basking spot. However, babies tend to do fine on heat mats given their lighter body weights.

The benefit of going for a adult animal is that they can go straight into their final size enclosure saving money in the long run! They are also more use to being handled making them great for children who just want a pet they can hold from day 1! (after appropriate settling in time).
