We never expected this…

When we started our little online shop in 2023 we didn’t think anyone would actually buy our reptiles from our website

It was just supposed to be an online showcase of the lovely reptiles we currently have in store. So that people who lived within reach of our shop could see the animals we have, and then come to visit us and see them in person.

What happened shortly after we’d posted our first reptiles online still surprises us. Within a day or so someone had bought one of our animals online. Without coming to the shop to see it in person. Without contacting us first. Not a known customer either, a complete stranger, who’d found us through Google, found the reptile they wanted on our website, and bought it there and then!

After a successful kit check, the reptile was on its way to a great new home.

To think that we weren’t even going to show a ‘Buy Now’ button, because we didn’t think anyone would buy directly from our little website.

But they did. And then someone else did. And then someone else…and before long we were getting regular online orders for our lovely reptiles, which was amazing because it meant our animals were heading off to great homes sooner — though it’s always hard to say goodbye!

And by offering specialised reptile delivery, it meant people in all parts of the UK could home a reptile who’s come from a trusted AAL breeder — not an online marketplace.

We never expected our online shop to become this popular!

More and more people are finding their reptile on our website. More and more people are booking Reptile Handling Experiences and Parties. Or holiday boarding. And more and more people are using our Reptile Request form to tell us exactly what they’re looking for.
