Suitable for: Intermediate, this species is easy to keep with similar care to corn snakes however can be a little food oriented.
Captive bred? yes CB23
Handling: This male is fine to handle, but all Kingsnakes can be a little foody so would recommend a confident keeper
Maximum adult size: 4-5ft
Kingsnakes have very similar care to corn snakes, requiring the same temperature of 30-32*C on the hot side and an overall humidity of 30-40%
As adults they can range from 4-5 ft with females being larger. We would advise a tank a similar length to your snake so ideally 4ft or larger.
