Housing and habitat: minimum 2ft enclosure for an adult with thermostatically controlled over-head heating and plenty of substrate to dig in mimicking a dry, arid environment.
Due to their burrowing tendencies we recommend overhead heating over heat mats, however both can be effective when used correctly to achieve basking temperatures around 30-32*C.
