Kenyan Sand Boa For Sale - Unique Pattern Breeding Prospect

Sand boas are an awesome smaller snake species which burrow into loose substrates to make tunnel networks. Due to their burrowing tendencies we recommend overhead heating over heat mats, however both can be effective when used correctly to achieve basking temperatures around 30-32*C.

  • Photos taken March 2024, age approx 1 year

  • Sex: male

  • Morph: Wild Type

  • Suitable for: anyone after a unique smaller snake species and has the patience to work with a picky eater.

  • Captive bred? yes, CB23

  • Handling: happy to be handled

  • Maximum adult size: 2ft

  • Housing and habitat: 2ft enclosure with thermostatically controlled over head heating and plenty of substrate to dig in. Dry arid environment

With the high % Dodoma this animal has much more intense orange colouration than your standard sand boas and a uniquely orange head.
