• Aquarium, 3ft long minimum for adults

• Filter with adjustable flow rate

• Water temperatures: 16-18c

• Chillers/ coolers recommended, especially during the summer months

• Water conditioner

• Soft substrate/ bare bottom

• Caves and hiding places with no sharp edges
