Pink-Bellied Side-neck Turtles are a beautiful species known for their pink plastron and yellow-lined eyes. They benefit from a large aquarium as they are strong and active swimmers!

Sex: Male
Adult size: Up to 10 inches
Handling: Turtles are best kept as a display species
Suitability: Beginner who can provide large enough enclosure
Adults should be housed in a 4ft long aquarium as a minimum size, with a water heater and an adequate filtration system in place.
Turtles require an easily accessible dry basking area which should allow the turtle to completely dry off and bask under UV lighting.
