Adult Size: 1 to 2 inches
Lifespan: Up to 20 years
Handling: Amphibians are best kept as a display species and infrequently handled using gloves due to their sensitive absorbent skin.
Suitability: Well-researched Beginner
Yellow-bellied Toads require a semi-aquatic enclosure (a large portion of shallow water with a land area that is easily accessible) within a glass terrarium, with more ground space than height.
This species do not require high temperatures, and any heating should be thermostatically controlled.
