Hibernating species
This species will come microchipped with A10 CITES paperwork - a posh birth certificate verifying their birth in captivity
Diet: Vegetation dusted with the correct vitamin and calcium supplements
Average Adult Size: Up to 35cm long (14 inches) and up to 5kg heavy
Average Lifespan: 50 to 80+ years
Suitability: Beginners
Whilst young, housed in an enclosure that is 4x2ft minimum
Overhead heating
12% T5 UV lighting
Digital thermometer or heat gun
Shallow water bowl that they can easily get in and out of
Correct supplement schedule
Full enclosure kits available
When they are old enough, they can then be kept outdoors during the summer months in enclosed outdoor garden spaces, and hibernated during the winter.
