Adorable dwarf monitor species, the true red ackie varanus acanthurus acanthurus are a great first time monitor. Very intelligent and active.

This youngster has a few missing toes on the front feet, and a really stunning animal, already really friendly, would make an excellent pet or future breeding project as we are pretty sure it’s a female. Last few pics against our yellow ackie male to show colour difference.
