Handling: Friendly
Suitability: Beginner
Average Adult Size: 7 to 11 inches
Enclosure recommendations
Adult Leopard Geckos should be housed in a vivarium measuring 3ft long as the minimum size.
Thermostatically controlled overhead heating should be provided, with temps measured using a digital thermometer or heat gun. Low-level UV lighting is beneficial and recommended.
Leopard Geckos require multiple hides within their enclosure, one of which should be filled with moist sphagnum moss to aid in their shedding cycle.
They enjoy a loose soil/sand mix substrate, and a small shallow water dish in the cooler end of their enclosure.
