Common boas are deceptively great beginner snakes. Other than their size (a pro for many) they are hardy, great feeders and easy to care for. With their size they can range from 6-10ft with females topping those scales.

Handling: fine handled but can be vocal though hook training is recommended for when they grow.
Size range: Adult females 7-10ft
Housing and habitat: minimum 6ft x 2ft vivarium as adult, larger is recommended.
If you’ve got the space for a 6ft viv then go big or go home with a great species like this!
