Handling: Turtles are best kept as a display pet

Adult Reeves Turtles do best in 3 to 4ft long aquariums depending on their fully-grown size as this varies greatly between individuals. Babies can be housed in smaller versions of this until outgrown.
They should be provided with strong filtration as they can be messy creatures, as well as a water heater. Turtles also require an easily accessible land area so that they can dry off to avoid fungal issues whilst basking under UV lighting which aids in correct bone and shell growth.
