Adult Female Western Hognose Snake For Sale
The Western Hognose snake is a small, popular pet snake species named after their cute upturned noses which they use to bury themselves and create tunnel networks in the wild!

Age: CB Adult
Morph: Normal
Adult size range: 24” - 36” (females larger than males)
Handling: Very dramatic inside her enclosure but settles once out
Suitability: Well-researched, confident beginner
Western Hognose snakes are mildly rear-fanged venomous as a hunting adaptation. If a person is bitten, this can act similarly to a bee sting, with some people being more prone to a reaction (swelling and itching) than others. That being said, this species do not tend to bite unless provoked and feeling threatened, and are more likely to give a warning heat butt.
Kit requirements
3ft long vivarium (minimum for an adult female)
Guarded overhead heating or a heat mat connected to a thermostat
Digital thermometer or heat gun
2.5 - 7% T5 UV lighting is highly recommended
Multiple hides and a substrate that allows for burrowing
